Najiib Raytaan, 25, of Harlesden Road, appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Monday, the Metropolitan Police said in a statement.

He has since been remanded in custody and will next appear at the Old Bailey on Wednesday.

She was pronounced dead at the scene, the force said, adding that the victim and the suspect were known to each other and that detectives were not looking for anyone else in relation to her death.
