A man has been charged with the murder of a man after a stabbing inside a bank in Derby.
Haybe Nur Cabdiraxmaan, 47, from nearby Mickleover, has been charged with the murder of Gurvinder Johal.
The 37-year-old died after he was stabbed inside a Lloyds bank in Derby on Tuesday, the Crown Prosecution Service said.
Cabdiraxmaan is due to appear in court on Thursday.
Samanatha Shallow, deputy chief crown prosecutor in the East Midlands, said: “Our thoughts remain with the family of Mr Johal at this time.”
Every defendant has the right to a fair trial, Ms Shallow said, as she warned people against speculating on the incident online.
