A 14-year-old boy has been charged with attempted murder after an alleged stabbing in Merseyside.
Merseyside Police said the teenager had also been charged with wounding with intent and possession of a bladed article in a public place after two teenagers were allegedly stabbed in Kirby on Wednesday.
The boy has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Liverpool Youth Remand court on Friday.
The two injured teenagers are still in hospital where they remain in a stable condition, police confirmed.
A second suspect – a 15-year-old boy – has been arrested as part of the investigation and is currently being questioned by detectives in custody.
