Several people have been hit by a bus in Sweden’s capital of Stockholm, according to local police.
Police say there are both “injured and deceased” in the incident on Valhallavagen street, near the University of Technology.
However, police have not confirmed the numbers.
In a statement, police said: “At this time, the police are not commenting on the number, gender or ages of those affected.
“Police, rescue services and ambulance are working at the scene and due to the operation, Valhallavagen is closed between Odengatan and Engelbrektsgatan.”
A spokesperson for Stockholm’s rescue services said five people were affected by the incident.
The scene has been cordoned off, police added.
According to Reuters, the bus hit a bus stop in central Stockholm, though the exact cause of the crash isn’t yet known.
