A 28-year-old woman has been charged with murder following the death of a man who was found unresponsive in a Suffolk park, police have said.
Officers were called to Sparrow’s Nest Gardens in Lowestoft at about 10.13pm on Friday where they discovered 54-year-old Gary Grant.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, the man was later declared dead.
Amber Stebbings, of no fixed address, was arrested at the scene and has been charged with murder.
She has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before Great Yarmouth Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
Police are treating the case as an isolated incident and said both people were understood to be known to each other.
Mr Grant’s family members are being supported by specialist officers.

A Home Office post-mortem examination took place on Saturday and the cause of death is pending further investigation, said Suffolk Police.
Officers are continuing to appeal for anyone with information. This includes anyone driving in the area around the time who may have dashcam footage.
