At least eight people have been killed after a car exploded in Delhi, Indian police said.
The blast occurred outside the gates of the Red Fort metro station in the city.
At least 11 people were injured, Indian media reported.
Sanjay Tyagi, a spokesman for Delhi Police, told The Associated Press, they “are investigating the cause of the blast”.
At least six vehicles and three autorickshaws caught fire, Delhi’s deputy fire chief said.
“We heard a big sound, our windows shook,” one resident, who did not give a name, told NDTV.
