A member of the public found his remains near to Rubha Dubh, at Firkin Point, on 13 September.

David McColl, 50, was arrested and charged in connection with Mr Wright’s death.

McColl has been accused of murder, attempting to defeat the ends of justice, and two counts of breaching bail conditions.

McColl, of Glasgow, made no plea to the four separate charges when he appeared at the city’s sheriff court on Monday.
