A body has been recovered during the search for a man who went missing in a Scottish reservoir.
Emergency crews were alerted to concern for a person at Harlaw Reservoir, on the outskirts of Edinburgh, shortly before 5pm on Monday.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) mobilised two fire appliances and specialist resources to the beauty spot after the alarm was raised.
Police Scotland said water searches were carried out, but the missing man was not traced.
The search resumed on Tuesday, with the force later confirming a body had been pulled from the water.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11am on Tuesday 26 August 2025, the body of a man was recovered from the reservoir and formal identification is yet to take place.
“A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
