Multiple people have been injured in a shooting at a church in the US state of Kentucky, authorities say.
Kentucky governor Andy Beshear said “we are aware of a series of incidents” in the city of Lexington involving one suspect.
They included a shooting at a state trooper and “an additional shooting at Richmond Road Baptist Church with multiple injuries”, the governor said.
“The trooper and others are being treated at a nearby hospital,” he added.
“Details are still emerging, and we will share more information as available.”
State police said the suspect in the shootings is now dead.
