A toddler is recovering in hospital after receiving “life-changing” facial injuries in a dog attack in Denton, Greater Manchester.
The one-year-old girl was rushed to the hospital alongside two adults – a 21-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man – who were also caught up in the incident on Thursday evening.
They have sustained serious injuries, which are not life-changing or life-threatening.
The dog was seized by specialist officers from Greater Manchester Police’s tactical dog unit – and was later humanely destroyed.
